Advanced Handgun
This course is designed for advanced shooters who want to maximize their capabilities. This course focuses heavily on combat principles and places an emphasis on shooting quickly and accurately. Shooters will be exposed to and gain an understanding of how to shoot from various positions, address multiple threats quickly and be able to shoot, move and communicate. Without special approval, satisfactory completion of our intermediate course will be required as a prerequisite prior to attending this course.
Requirements
Safe, functional handgun
300-350 rounds of ammunition (handloads strongly discouraged)
Holster designed for the handgun you’ll be brining that can be worn outside of the waistband and accessible given the clothing you’re wearing
At least one extra magazine
If possible, a magazine pouch that can be worn outside the waistband
Appropriate Eye Protection
Appropriate Hearing Protection
Appropriate Attire for shooting outside (kneepads encouraged as we will be shooting from kneeling and prone positions)
Appropriate Footwear for a gravel range
